With experiences as diverse as the communities within it, the South Bay offers everything from apple picking to wine tasting to light displays, auto shows and so much more!

Silicon Valley has so much to offer – and the many art and wine festivals are a great way to experience local artisans, shop small, eat big, enjoy live music and of course – sip wine! Here are just a few upcoming offerings: 39th Annual Capitola Art & Wine Festival (9/10-9/11), 50th Mountain View Art & Wine Festival (9/10-9/11), Los Gatos Fiesta de Artes (9/17), the Santa Clara Art & Wine Festival (9/18) and the Taste of Morgan Hill 2022 (9/24).

ANTIQUE AUTOS & HALLOWEEN HAUNT LIGHT SHOW
San Jose’s History Park may pay homage to our city’s rich past, but the future is always filled with fun, family events! Next weekend (9/17), experience the largest annual antique auto show in the West! The 22nd annual Antique Autos in History Park (AAHP) is presented by the Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club and History San Jose and welcomes all period-correct pre-1946 vehicles. Plus, there will be crafts, antiques, music, dancing, trolley rides and more!
If cars are not your thing but pumpkins are – check out the annual Halloween Haunt Light Show happening on 6 different dates in October. View a spectacular light display at the Pacific Hotel while eating treats from local food trucks and listening to themed music.

U-PICK APPLES @ LUZ DEL VALLE
What if you could pick your apples from the same place that Martinelli’s relies upon to make their sparkling cider? Now you can – at Luz del Valle in Aptos! U-Pick events run select dates through October 28th, while a special tour and apple juice pressing program is set for October 8th & 9th. Chad’s Pick: Our 4-legged HOSV team member asked us to remind you that Bark In The Park is back for its 24th year! This all-day, outdoor, family friendly event is also known as the largest dog festival in the US and features a kid’s zone, contests (even a dog & owner look-alike award!), demonstrations, vendors, a misting tent plus food & drink! Money raised from Bark in the Park benefits local community and pet-focused organizations including Humane Society Silicon Valley, San Jose Animal Care Center, and PAWS4SJACS and the Campus Community Neighborhood Association.
