Here at Homes of Silicon Valley, we all about ‘keeping it real’. As we sat down to write our weekly blog and considered the issues most important to you and your family today – we knew that COVID-19 topped the list. Therefore, we share this post today not because we want to contribute to the fears that exist, but because we share in your realities and want to provide resources to help.
Please find below resources related to general updates, how to talk to children about COVID-19, ways to manage the daily stressors associated with the disease and how we can help each other along the way. While social distancing is recommended, there are many ways that we can support each other without making physical contact. Sending messages of encouragement, stocking up on supplies for your neighbor when you buy your own and smiling at each other across the street – even the little things count.
We also know that while home is where the heart is - it is also where many of you are working, caring for children, managing media updates and spending more time than you had planned right now. Please be sure to take care of YOU and your needs during the juggle.
