Turning The Tables…

#PROUDDAD

Welcome back to the Homes of Silicon Valley Blog! I am doing things a little different this week, and probably embarrassing my kids in the process (hey, it was just Father’s Day, they’ll forgive me...right?). In over two decades of working in real estate, its suffice to say that I love homes. But I love the stories within them even more. More often than not, buying, selling and investing pertain to greater circumstances. Of getting married. Of getting divorced. Of having kids. Of being an empty nester. Of having a kitchen big enough to entertain in. Of having a family room cozy enough to play games in. And I’ve been honored to be a part of so many of these stories in so many transactions. To everyone who has invited me to be a part of one chapter or more, I thank you truly.

Since many of you have given me the gift of being in your story – I am turning the tables and sharing a part of mine! The crew above is who I call home… and these are some snapshots of Father’s Day weekend! As you can see, my daughter Amanda is now a college graduate (where did that time go?!). My son Andrew is 12 and has been the best shelter-in-place bike buddy that I can imagine (though he may not say the same about my ‘teaching’). The dog is Chadwick and he is learning to drive… a boat (another fun fact is that he recently had 28 teeth pulled, ouch!).

Home is where we love to be, and where we have been a lot lately. And this week I just wanted you to know that each time you entrust me with a piece of your home and your family, I will treat them just as I do mine.

Cheers to many bright days with your tribe,

Mark
