Your Must-Eat Edition Of Silicon Valley Food Finds

must eats

For some reason, much of the news we have seen this week is surrounding a topic we all know & love: FOOD! Home may be where the heart is, but thank goodness it is also where the stretchy pants await their resurgence because there are some serious eats you need to know about right now in Silicon Valley!

We know that many of our clients, colleagues and friends are sports lovers, so you will no doubt be thrilled to discover that fab food finds are what the Bay Area’s biggest arenas are tauting today...

The Talk Of The Tamales: The only thing more anticipated than the new home of the Warriors (Chase Center) is the food items that is making headlines alongside it: tamales! The Mercury News just published an inspiring article about  entrepreneur Alicia Villanueva, who went from selling 100 tamales a day door-to-door to curating 40,000 tamales a month in partnership with kitchen incubator La Cocina. If you can’t catch one of these famous food items at the Chase Center, look for them likely coming soon to Whole Foods (they have also been known to make their way into the cafeterias of Google, Facebook & Twitter!).

IG-Worthy Shark Bait: If the good ol’ game of hockey does not draw you into SAP Center, the unique and ridiculously large new menu items might! With a new food menu targeted at those who are at the Shark Tank for more than just sports, expect to choose from items full of flavor. Choose from items such as an Estrella Jalisco Cocina  ‘Over The Top Taco’, Sushi Confidential ‘Sharks Roll’, Hula Truck BayRitto and whatever Launch Test Kitchen invents just for you! Hungry yet?

Bold Bites For Football Fans: Did you hear what happened at Levi Stadium last month, besides the 49ers 6th season home opener in Santa Clara? 13 fresh food concepts made their debut and did not disappoint! Fan favorites include Guy Fieri’s first ‘Chicken Guy’, Tony (The Pizza King) Gemignani’s first ‘Slice House’ in the South Bay plus 5 female-owned and/or operated restaurants. Find the full line-up here, a mouth-watering response is not optional.
