In honor of Labor Day weekend and the heat wave that’s about to hit, we wanted to make sure you knew about this app to share with the outdoor workers in your life. This free ‘Heat Safety Tool’ (redesigned by CDC’s National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), along with the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)) determines how hot it feels based on temperature and humidity, in an effort to prevent heat-related illness and put life-saving information at the fingertips of those who need it the most. Guess what city ranked the 2^nd hottest market in America in August 2017?! Give it up for San Jose. Realtor.com cites our sacred city as an extra-hot place to be whether you are selling or looking to invest ‘in an in-demand locale’.
