Spring Forward This Sunday

It’s almost that time again… spring forward is just days away! With all of this rain, it’s been hard to believe that sunshine and sandal weather is within reach. Now that we are getting ready to change those clocks this Sunday, March 12^th at 3am… what are a few other things we can do to get our homes & yards spring ready?

#1: Check and/or change those smoke detector batteries. Every 6 months is an ideal time, so many people find 'spring forward' & 'fall back' to be good reminders.

#2: Prep the air conditioner! Triple digit days are not the time you want to find out that your hoses are leaking or drain pans are cracked.

#3: Think about window washing. It’s best to wait until this rain is behind us, but why not get on the calendar of your favorite window washer so you can see that sun through sparkling clean glass.

#4: Get ready to gather on the patio! Now is a great time to check the condition of your yard furniture, test out or hang those café lights, put out the outdoor rug and add some fun new porch décor.

#5: Buy new garden gloves! And don’t forget the outdoor trash bags, fertilizer and maybe even deck cleaner while you’re at it!
