The Good, The Bad & The Great: Fall Home Care

Can you believe that the first day of fall is here?! Is it just us…or does it seem like we were just planning summer vacations and fishing our flip-flops out of the closet?! With crisp, perhaps cooler days upon us and the holidays fast approaching, you are likely wishing someone could craft your to-do list…and tackle it too! If those home plans include buying selling…you know that we are always here to help!

No matter if the comforts of home are in a new or existing residence, we have compiled three helpful fall checklists for making sure your home is weather-proofed, water-tight and waiting for memories to be created day and night. The first two checklists are designed as a guide with some basic reminders of how to prepare your home for the change of seasons. The last list is our favorite…as we think it reminds us why we all do what we do…and who we do it for! As a fun family activity, we encourage you to sit down with your loved ones (of all ages!) and throw a few of these fall "bucket-list" items on your calendar. (Bonus points if you get them ALL done by December 1^st ! )

THE GOOD: THIS SIMPLE & STRAIGHT-FORWARD LIST IS A BASIC BLUEPRINT FOR MASTERING MAINTENANCE THAT CAN SAVE YOU TIME, HASSLE AND $$$ IN THE LONG RUN.

THE BAD:THE LIST ITSELF ISN’T ALL THAT BAD…BUT THE RESULTS CAN BE IF YOU AVOID AN IMPORTANT STEP! A LITTLE CALIFORNIA RAIN GOES A LONG WAY AFTER A DRY SPELL, SO MAKE SURE YOUR GUTTERS, ROOF & FURNACE ARE GOOD-TO-GO.

THE GREAT: THESE ARE THE THINGS WE ARE PRETTY SURE LIFE IS ALL ABOUT (NOT THAT WE HAVE IT ALL FIGURED OUT!). TAKE SOME TIME TO ENJOY THE COMFORTS OF HOME AND WHO YOU HAVE IN  IT…THIS SEASON & ALWAYS.
